Phase 1 - Branding, Logo & Color Palette

Japa Organics presented several challenges that were fun for us to brainstorm and overcome. Just like Helia, it was a new product in a very saturated space (CBD Oil). That said, the vision was clear as the company sought to focus more on the target demographic than any other element of branding.

The vision was to align with wellness, meditation and yoga, with females being the predominant target market consumers. After several brainstorms and using colors that were very feminine, such as pink and purple, we decided it would be best to make a gender neutral color palette. The lighter shades helped create a purity to the brand while allowing the font of the brand to truly shine. This logo was created first using a watercolor schematic which was then transitioned into a graphic. After numerous failed attempts this was the final outcome below, which also helped move into the next phase of product branding.

  • A logo that could be trademarked and remembered for simplicity:
    Our team focused their efforts on an exploratory phase initially outlining ideal color palette and logo variations to ensure the brand carried a unique feel but represented a brand you could find at the store (Olay, Dove, etc.)
  • A brand that could transition well into product label conception:
    We used this initial branding phase to help in creation of product labels.

We experimented with a few logo's initially that would look more like consumer good's before finalizing the official logo.

Phase 2 - Product Mockup & Design

We used the introductory discovery branding to transition into the product design. We did not want to overwhelm consumers with too much business but at the same time legally had to add certain product details such as; bar code, count, ingredients, etc. Below is the initial mock-up to end final product.

Phase 3 - Web Design & Marketing Automation

Branding Japa Organics starting with the logo and color palette helped transition well into their Woocommerce website. We looked at several well known yoga and wellness brands to conceptualize the e-commerce store.

Our Web Development Initiative Closed The Gap By:

  • Matching target market to the product.
  • Tagged e-commerce funnel to understand exactly which channels were producing the most ROI.
  • Added outside of the box integrations to e-commerce store such as; audio blog posts, abandon cart e-mail sequence, build e-mail list via promo code and more.

Our solution was to customize a WooCommerce website that was:

  • Mobile responsive
  • Fast loading speed time
  • SEO optimized
  • Easy for client to use
  • Automated via plugins such as Beeketing, Cart Abandonment and Live Chat.
